The fact that both Carphone Warehouse and O2 has refused to release sales numbers of the iPhone and now the price has been slashed by £100 is ringing alarm bells in the telecoms sector and making consumers wonder – is it all it was cracked up to be?

As if it wasn’t enough for Apple to be the world’s biggest computer manufacturer, and then MP3 player brand, and last year challenging existing mobile phone manufacturers with the launch of the iPhone…Apple is now taking on television and DVD companies.
