New Panda packaging seems familiar….

Soft drinks brand Panda has rolled out a new packaging design in order to position itself as a ‘premium’ product.

Nothing wrong with that, of course. But the brand’s new blackcurrant variant has an interesting, somewhat familiar, look to it.

Anyone think of Ribena when you look at the packaging? If you were GlaxoSmithKline, Ribena’s owner, what would you think?

What a bunch of blackcurrants! You know what - maybe as children, this agency only drank delicious orange flavoured beverages? We’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because, let’s face it, they probably won’t be winning any more brand work!
